Starting a family as a same-sex female couple doesn’t exactly happen like the “birds and the bees” talk that we might have heard as teenagers. • Which partner will carry the pregnancy?
• Which partner will the genetic source of the egg?
• Will the sperm donor be a known donor or an anonymous donor?

Many couples have made these decisions prior to their initial consult whereas some are still undecided. Our team can help navigate you with these complex questions and explain the risks/benefits of different options. Sometimes there are medical aspects to these questions that benefit from further testing and exploration. Other emotional or social aspects can also be addressed by our reproductive psychologist, if desired.
